- The closest station is Ashby Station on the Richmond Line, a 15 minute walk from our office.
- At MacArthur Station, there is free shuttle service for Alta Bates-Summit Medical Center Campuses that depart every 20 minutes. Be sure to take the #2 (Yellow) shuttle to the Alta Bates Campus, one block away.
Driving Instructions

- Telegraph Ave runs through Berkeley and Oakland, but the numbering is not continuous, so there is a 3031 Telegraph in Berkeley and another 3031 Telegraph in Oakland.
- Driving north on Telegraph Avenue from Oakland to Berkeley, the street numbers increase up to 6600 before they drop down to 3000s at the Berkeley border. Try to resist the temptation to turn around thinking you have gone the wrong way!
- Websites (Google, Mapquest) may direct you to this address in Oakland, so please check the map to confirm the destination is one block from Ashby Avenue in Berkeley. We are across the street from Whole Foods Market (3000 Telegraph Ave); you can get correct directions to there.
From the north:
- Take I-80 toward Berkeley. Take the Ashby Avenue exit east two miles to Telegraph Avenue.
- Turn right on Telegraph. Go one block turn left onto Webster Street. The corner building on your right is #3031. Take the first driveway on your right for paid parking behind the building.
From the south:
- From San Leandro take 880N toward downtown Oakland. Turn onto 980E to Highway 24. Take the 51st St/Telegraph exit, towards Telegraph Avenue. Turn right onto 51st Street, and turn LEFT at the second traffic light, which is Telegraph. Proceed north on Telegraph 1 .1 miles to Webster Street. #3031 is on the corner of Telegraph and Webster. Turn right onto Webster for paid parking behind the building.
From the west:
- From San Francisco, cross the Bay Bridge and continue on I-80E (580W). Take the Ashby Avenue exit east two miles to Telegraph Avenue.
- Turn right on Telegraph. Go one block turn left onto Webster Street. The corner building on your right is #3031. Take the first driveway on your right for paid parking behind the building.
From the east:
- From Orinda take Highway 24 W through the Caldecott Tunnel. Take the Telegraph Avenue exit. Turn right at the end of the off ramp onto Telegraph Avenue, then proceed north on Telegraph.1 miles to Webster Street. #3031 is on the corner of Telegraph and Webster. Turn right onto Webster for paid parking behind the building.
Parking
On-site paid parking is available behind the building (enter on Webster Street.) The fee is $1.75 per half hour
Paid parking is available at Alta Bates Hospital parking garage one block up Webster St.
On the street parking is usually available. There is metered parking on Telegraph Avenue, and unmetered spots within a few blocks.
